Working with Documents Without the Add-In
Other users can view and open Documaker documents created with the Add-In on a computer with Word installed, but without the Add-In.
These users can edit the non-Documaker portions of a Documaker document, but cannot edit any of the Documaker elements.
| Note | Any document that is edited using Word without the Add-In should be validated on a computer that has the Add-In installed: see Validating a Documaker Document. |
| Warning | If you are using Word without the Add-In, do not try to edit, copy, move, or paste any of the Documaker element Word content controls. This will invalidate the elements, and they will have to be repaired later by in the Add-In user. |
